This piece is the hardest to talk about in this collection. When I heard about the Uvalde shooting I fell apart. I was drowning in the sorrow for the loss. That was the lowest point. I felt like it was hopeless. The world was falling apart and there was nothing I could do about it. As a parent I can’t even imagine the sorrow and rage the parents felt. I went straight to my studio to work through the emotions and created this. My heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone to violence. ️
